I am black, my skin is berry,

For years I bent the tree, that provided the fruit,

I chose the noose, over the truth,

But its said that I'm from the earths Mother,

Wished my dreams were true, but I aint like no other,

Caught a black stone, from the courts of kings, a stranger and a foreigner in a land of rings,

And things, that shine, but I shine,

Diamond teeth from my moms milk,

Its a gift and curse, figuring my worth, in my eyes, worth a mill, in your eyes worth a mill,

But if I think I'm worth a dime, then u treat me like I'm blind,

Beauty's in the eye of the holder, and the world's my domain

So my thoughts they will soldier, hold up, I'm gettin in it letting you know the emphasis, my mind set like I'm from ephesus, rich blood line pure, coz my pop's a chief, never mind the grief, I'm here now, aint where I'm from, but its definitely where I'm at.
